Terms of Service

1. Provider

Postbelt is a service by Gillian Scharf, Kudlichgasse 21/7, 1100 Vienna, Austria (“we”). Contact: gillian@videowien.at.

2. What Postbelt does

Postbelt posts videos you upload, at the time you schedule, to social media accounts you have connected. Postbelt only uses the platforms' official APIs for this. The available platforms are listed on the home page; more are added step by step.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your email address up to date, as you sign in with it and receive important notices there. You are responsible for everything that happens through your account.

4. Your content

Your videos and captions remain yours. You allow us to store them, process them technically and transfer them to the platforms you choose, as far as needed to provide the service. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to your content and that it does not violate any law or platform rules.

5. Platform terms

By using Postbelt's YouTube feature, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. For every other platform you connect, that platform's terms and policies apply as well.

6. What is not allowed

• spam, mass identical posts, or content that violates laws or the rights of others;
• attempts to get around the limits of the platforms or of Postbelt;
• connecting accounts you are not authorised to use.

In case of violations we may stop posts and suspend your account.

7. Availability

We do our best to publish every post on time. However, platforms may delay or reject posts, change their APIs and rules, and access may expire. We have no control over this. If a post fails, Postbelt shows you why.

8. Prices

As long as there is no paid plan, Postbelt is free. Postbelt only becomes paid if you expressly order a plan; the price is fixed in advance.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. For slight negligence we are not liable, as far as the law permits. We are not liable for decisions, outages or rule changes of the platforms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Ending the service

You can stop using Postbelt at any time by deleting your account (see Delete your data). We may end the contract with 30 days' notice, or immediately in case of serious violations.

11. Changes

If these terms change, we inform you by email at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using Postbelt afterwards, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account before then.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For businesses, the place of jurisdiction is Vienna. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of their country of residence.
