Delete your data

Last updated: November 2026

You can have your data at Postbelt deleted at any time. There are three ways.

1. In Postbelt

  • Disconnect an account: access to that account is deleted immediately and revoked at the platform. Scheduled posts on that account are cancelled.
  • Delete your Postbelt account: Postbelt immediately deletes everything stored about you: access tokens, videos, captions, schedules and the list of your posts. All access is revoked at the platforms.

2. At the platform

You can also remove Postbelt directly at the platform, in the settings for connected apps. For Google, go to security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Postbelt then disconnects the account and deletes the related data, within 30 days at the latest.

If you remove Postbelt on Instagram or Facebook and request deletion of your data there, Postbelt receives a deletion request, deletes your data and gives you a confirmation code you can use to check the status.

3. By email

Write to gillian@videowien.at with the subject “Delete my data”, ideally from the email address of your Postbelt account. If you have no Postbelt account, name the connected accounts. We delete within 30 days and confirm by email.

If you use Postbelt through an agency, you can contact the agency or us directly.

What remains

  • Posts that are already published are held by the platform. You can delete them there.
  • By law we must keep invoices for seven years, once there are paid plans.
  • The log of who connected, disconnected or deleted what and when contains only IDs and is deleted after 12 months.
